The High Anticorruption Court has ordered Lviv city mayor Andriy Sadovyy to post bail of 1,056,550 hryvnyas (about 44,000 dollars).
Earlier, prosecutors said that they would insist on 50m hryvnyas.
The court also obliged Sadovyy "to report to a detective, prosecutor, investigator, judge on every demand" and inform them about a change of residence or job. He must also abstain from communication with other people mentioned in the case.
The bail must be deposited within five days.
Sadovyy is suspected of abuse of office during the sale of 23.49 hectares for the construction of an industrial park which has not been built. According to investigators, the land plot is owned by the Ryasne-Ruske village council, not Lviv. It has a status of farmland and could not be sold.
