Disaster response teams of the Red cross together with the local government, representatives of police and territorial defence escorted the evacuation trains from Irpin in Kyiv region.
The volunteers organized the boarding and provided psychological first aid to the passengers.
Nearly 2,500 people were evacuated. Most of them are women and children.
“The operation took place on 3 March, when we managed to send one train, and continued on 4 March, when two more trains followed,” the message says.
Today during the second boarding, the enemy fired from artillery on the territory around the station. The report says that no one was hurt.
