The situation in Kyiv and Kyiv region is complicated, but under control. This day has been relatively calm. This Saturday has become the first day out of many when Russian ocupants did not shell the capital.
This was reported by Head of Kyiv civil-military administration Mykola Zhernov.
“Our air defense forces are constantly on standby, ready to destroy the enemy’s air targets in Kyiv’s sky. It’s been the first day recently that Russian invaders did not shell our capital,” says Mykola Zhernov.
He has stated that the authorities keep evacuating people from Kyiv region, providing all necessary transportation and accomodation.
There were no active offensive actions from the enemy in Kyiv region today. Russian troops have been regrouping and organising the logistics for their supplies on the captured territory. They are preparing for the offensive. Encirclement of Kyiv is the target of their main effort.
“Kyiv is holding its ground thanks to heroic work of Ukrainian warriors and military command. Every single enemy’s tank, every single Russian soldier will be destroyed on the outskirts of our city,” points out Mykola Zhernov.
