In the last day, three Luhansk region residents were killed by russian shelling. There more, including a child, were wounded.

A Belgian Heritage gymnasium burned down in Lysychansk, Luhansk regional military administration head Serhiy Haidai told on Telegram.

"A boy born in 2010 was wounded during heavy russian shelling of Zolote at about 8 p.m. on May 1. A local resident was also among the victims. Zolote local woman died. Two more people died in Lysychansk and Popasna during the past 24 hours,” he clarified.

Haidai called May 1 a very difficult day. Heavy lengthy shelling prevented a full-fledged evacuation. At least 12 houses were destroyed in Orikhovo and four in Hirske.

"In Lysychansk, an old building of a multidisciplinary gymnasium, which is part of the Belgian heritage of the city, burned down, and several houses were damaged. In Severodonetsk, six high-rise buildings burned down, five of which are located nearby. On May 1, the cities and villages of the Luhansk region were shelled 18 times by the enemy. Just officially, the destruction of 28 houses has been recorded," Serhiy Haidai said.

Yesterday 26 people were evacuated from Lysychansk. Haidai urges the people of Severodonetsk, Hirska amalgamated community, Lysychansk, and Rubizhne to evacuate, while the situation has not worsened in Popasna. The evacuation of people from Popasna was suspended after russians shot down two evacuation buses and captured the driver.
