Sky.News reports that the Chairperson of the African Union, President of Senegal Macky Sall, will visit Kyiv and Moscow.
Visits will occur in the coming weeks.
Sall said the African Union wants to see a de-escalation of the conflict and peace achieved through dialogue between the two sides.
"We do not want to be united with this conflict; very clearly, we want peace ... Although we condemn the invasion, we are working for de-escalation, we are working for a ceasefire, for dialogue ... this is Africa's position," - said the President of Senegal during a joint press conference with the Chancellor of Germany.
The President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, addressed the Parliament of Ukraine on 22 May 2022.
