The russian military used phosphorus shells against Sumy Region, military administration head Dmytro Zhyvytskyy has said on Telegram.
"The Russians used phosphorus shells to fire on the Yunakivka community!" he stressed.
He published a video from one of the villages in the Yunakivka community, noting that it was shelled by russian Grad MLRSs. He added that shells with phosphorus are prohibited in warfare.
"Information about casualties and destruction is being clarified," he added.
The occupiers fired more than 80 artillery rounds on Sumy Region yesterday.
