Servicemen of the 54th Separate Mechanised Brigade shot down a Russian Mi-8 helicopter near Lysychansk, the army support foundation Come Back Alive has said on Facebook.
"They saw an enemy bird in the sky and did what needed to be done – 'destroyed the harmful fly' together with the crew," the brigade said. It posted a video of the hit.
Earlier today, Ukrainian troops shot down two Russian Ka-52 helicopters in three minutes.
