The UK supplies the Armed Forces of Ukraine not only old Brimstone 1 missiles but also modern Brimstone 2 Dual Mode missiles, the analytical project Ukraine Weapons Tracker reported.
This model has a much superior maximum range (Claimed "more than 200% increase") plus improved seeker, software and airframe design, the message states.

Brimstone self-guided missiles are usually used from aircraft. They are designed to hit both sea and land targets. The range of the first missile model is up to 20 km, the second modification - up to 60 km.
Previously, British troops used Brimstone in Libya and Syria.
