Judge Vira Mykhaylenko has been appointed the new head of the High Anti-Corruption Court of (HACC) Ukraine, the HACC website reports.
The decision was made on 14 February at a general meeting of judges.
Earlier, the Commission for National AntiCorruption Bureau Director Selection announced integrity interviews for 21 candidates.
From 7 May 2019 to 6 May 2022, the HACC was headed by Olena Tanasevych. After that, Oleh Pavlyshyn acted as the head of the High Anti-Corruption Court. The latter, in fact, has the longest judicial experience.
Last May, Judge Oleksandr Semennykov was elected head of the HACC Appeals Chamber. He replaced Danyyila Chornenko in this position.
