An accident involving a bus carrying Ukrainians happened near Vereszów in Poland this morning. Two women and a six-year-old child died, according to the Lublin police.
A VW Crafter minibus carrying 10 people was travelling towards the Polish-Ukrainian border.
"According to preliminary reports, the driver of a VW Crafter with 10 passengers drove off the road for an unknown reason and crashed into a tree. Two women and a 6-year-old girl died on the spot despite being treated by paramedics. The second child involved in the accident was taken to a hospital in Lublin, the driver of the car was sober," the Lublin police said.
The driver could face up to 8 years in prison for unintentionally causing a fatal accident.
