The bad weather in Ukraine has killed 10 people. Another 23 people were injured, including children. Emergency response centres have been set up at the national and regional levels, Interior Minister Klymemko reported via Telegram.
In Odesa Region, SES units were called to help 254 times. They towed 849 vehicles, including 24 buses and 17 emergency vehicles. They helped 2,498 people, including 162 children. Five people died due to the weather and 15 others were injured. Reverse traffic was organised on sections of the M-05 and M-15 roads.
In Mykolayiv Region, rescuers responded to calls 66 times and towed 144 vehicles. Traffic remains difficult on some road sections. Two people were killed and two others injured in Mykolayiv Region.
Due to the weather, 8 roads in Mykolayiv and Kirovohrad Regions remain closed to traffic. 411 settlements in 11 Regions have no electricity supply. A total of 1,530 vehicles have been towed out of the snowdrifts.
As a result of the severe weather, 10 people died in Odesa, Kharkiv, Mykolayiv and Kyiv Regions. 23 people were injured, including 2 children. Emergency response centres have been set up at the national and regional levels.
