During his official visit to Turkey, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine was assured of support for Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty. All other peace plans can be seen as additional to the Ukrainian one.

The Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament, Ruslan Stefanchuk, said this in a comment to LB.ua during an official visit to the Republic of Turkey.

"We have Plan A, which is the peace formula of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. I keep saying here that we respect the plans developed by other countries. However, we believe that the conditions for ending this war, the conditions for permanent and sustainable peace, are the exclusive competence of the state that is a victim of this war. And we can talk about all other initiatives as additional to the main one," the speaker replied to LB.ua's question about whether the so-called Erdogan plan, which was reported by the Russian media in April, was discussed during the visit.

The speaker assured that this is why the Ukrainian side is now working to ensure that the maximum number of civilised countries are represented at the Global Peace Summit on 15-16 June in Switzerland.

"And this is my main task here and that of many other guests who are now working around the world. We need to mobilise the civilised part of the world as much as possible so that we reaffirm our commitment to the international principles of law... When Russia decided in the middle of the 21st century that their right of force should prevail over the power of law," he stressed.

The Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament added that such arbitrariness of Russia is not accepted by the civilised world.

"And I also heard here about the full support for the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. And also about the possible development of various approaches to returning peace. But the most important thing is a stable and sustainable peace for Ukraine. I emphasise that only the Ukrainian side can exclusively determine the terms of this peace," he stressed.
