The Cabinet of Ministers has extended the special preferential gas price for heat producers and household consumers.
This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal at a government meeting on 23 August.
According to him, the winter will be very difficult. ‘Despite 24/7 repairs and restoration, we still have a lot of damaged energy facilities,’ the Prime Minister said.
The decision on the preferential price will be valid until 30 April 2025, i.e. until the end of the next heating season.
