Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the Russian occupiers were gradually being driven out of the Kharkiv Region.He said this in an evening video address on 23 August.
‘I spoke with Chief Commander Syrskyy, in particular about the fighting in Kharkiv Region. We are pushing the Russian army back. Gradually. The occupier will not conquer Kharkiv,’ the Head of State said.The President noted that ‘since the beginning of this May, our forces have managed to repel Russia's attempt to attack Kharkiv, to break our city and the entire Kharkiv Region’.
