Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate has released materials on the structure of the Polyus Research Institute, one of the enterprises in Russia’s defense industry.
This was reported by Ukraine’s Defense Ministry intelligence agency.
According to Ukrainian intelligence, the M. Stelmakh Polyus Research Institute is part of Russia’s state corporation Rostec and specializes in the development of laser and optoelectronic technologies. These are used in the production of missile weapons, drones, aircraft, artillery, and armored vehicles.
The intelligence agency notes that the enterprise is an important link in Russia’s military-industrial complex and provides the technological base for weapons production.
