Russian forces attacked a mobile branch of Ukrposhta JSC in the Sumy region with a drone. Company employees suffered serious injuries.
This was reported by Ukrposhta CEO Ihor Smilianskyi.
According to him, the attack took place the day before. After the employees were wounded, doctors in Sumy and Trostianets fought through the night for their lives.
"The enemy continues to hunt our Ukrposhta mobile branches, which deliver pensions, medicines, parcels and food to Ukrainians. Yesterday, another such drone attack was carried out in the Sumy region," Smilianskyi said. –
He added that, despite the employees’ serious injuries, doctors are giving a cautiously positive prognosis.
"We hope our colleagues recover as quickly as possible, and we wish them exactly that," the Ukrposhta CEO said. –
Smilianskyi also noted that the company is improving security measures and continuing to operate.
