The annual Ukraine-EU summit scheduled for May 19 in Brussels, was postponed.
"Ukrainian government needs more time to carry out reforms," Brussels reporter for Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty Rikard Jozwiak reported via Twitter.
The press attache of the EU Delegation to Ukraine David Stulik confirmed this information to Ukrainian News. He declined to specify, though, on why the summit was postponed, saying the office will soon release an explanation regarding the postponement.
Ukraine-EU summits are held once a year, alternately in the EU and Ukraine. Last time the event was held on 27 April, 2015 in Kyiv.
