A bail of 100m hryvnyas has been deposited for the suspended head of the State Fiscal Service, Roman Nasirov, the Specialised Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office has said on Facebook.
The bail was transferred to a special account of Kyiv's Solomyanskyy district court by Nasirov's wife, Kateryna Hlymbovska.
Nasirov will be released from custody once the transfer is verified.
According to the court ruling, he will have to report to detectives, prosecutors and court on first notice; wear an ankle monitor; report on his movements to law enforcers and hand in his travel documents.
Nasirov is suspected of authorizing the restructuring of tax liabilities by companies associated with MP Oleksandr Onyshchenko, which inflicted 2bn hryvnyas in losses on the state. Nasirov was suspended on 3 March.
