Over the past day, illegal armed groups in Donbas 19 times violated the ceasefire. Two Ukrainian soldiers were reported wounded, one in grenade fire in Novoselivka Druha, the other received a shrapnel wound near Krasnohorivka. The armed forces of Ukraine on twelve occasions returned fire, ATO headquarters reported on Thursday, 5 October.
On Wednesday evening, the militants showed activity mainly in the Donetsk sector.
After 6 pm the enemy fired grenade launchers and small arms at the ATO positions on the outskirts of Avdiyivka and used the same weapon to attack Ukrainian forces stationed in the Nevelske area.
In the Luhansk sector, the separatists around midnight twice fired 82-mm mortars at Ukrainian fortifications near Krymske and actively used grenade launchers and heavy machine guns.
In the Mariupol sector, the enemy shelled Ukrainian strong points near Vodyane with heavy machine guns and small arms.
On Tuesday, militants 22 times violated the ceasefire in Donbas. One Ukrainian soldier was wounded.
