Heavy rains have flooded streets in Kyiv, making it especially difficult for drivers to cross the low area under the Livoberezhna metro station viaduct on the city's left bank.
The water rose as high as to cover the road as well as sidewalks, resulting in heavy jams on Brovarskyy Avenue, the Metro Bridge and the Dnipro Embankment.
The area gets regularly flooded during heavy rains due to drainage problems, which were not tackled during the reconstruction of the square before the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest.
