Presidential candidate Yuliya Tymoshenko, who will go on an election tour of Lviv Region on 11 February, has met another presidential contender Andriy Sadovyy, she told an LB.ua correspondent.
“It was an excellent meeting. [We discussed] how to counteract fraud, terror aggression to which election campaigns are now being subjected,” she said.
She did not rule out she and Sadovyy might coordinate efforts during the parliamentary elections “because the country must have an alternative, options to choose from”. Asked whether they can join ranks for the parliamentary election, she said that “coordination was the right word”.
On 7 February, presidential candidates Yuliya Tymoshenko, Andriy Sadovyy, Anatoliy Hrytsenko, Oleksandr Shevchenko and Viktor Bondar signed a memorandum on fair elelctions and joint counteraction to fraud.
