Water supply to the town of Bila Tserkva in Kyiv Region, which was stopped after a dangerous chemical spill in the Ros River, has been restored, according to the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine.
Samples, which were taken where Bila Tserkva pumps in water for drinking, did not reveal any excesses.
Water supply was suspended on 9 June aftern a van carrying pesticides skidded into the Ros River near the village of Zbarzhevka in Vinnytsya Region because of a motorway incident.
