The cabinet has approved eight candidates for regional state administration heads nominated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, his representative Andriy Herus has said, according to Ukrainian News.

According to Deputy Prime Minister Pavlo Rozenko's Facebook post, these are:

- Pavlo Kyrylenko, military prosecutor of the Uzhhorod garrison, for the head of the Donetsk regional state administration,

- Ihor Bondarenko, Mukacheve businessmen, for the head of the Transcarpathian regional state administration,

- Mykhaylo Bno-Ayriyan, deputy director for communications and international cooperation at the national energy company Ukrenergo, for the head of the Kyiv regional state administration,

- Vitaliy Komarnytskyy, rector of the Luhansk State University of Internal Affairs, for the head of the Luhansk regional state administration,

- Markiyan Malskyy, lawyer at Arzinger and son of Ukraine's former ambassador to Poland Markiyan Malskyy, for the head of the Lviv regional state administration,

- Andriy Andreychykov, scrap metal collector, for the head of the Odesa regional state administration,

- Yuriy Husev, a former deputy defence minister, for the head of the Kherson regional state administration,

- Ihor Shevchenko, businessman, for the head of the Cherkasy regional state administration.
