Parliament has failed to replace the head of the parliamentary committee on foreign policy, Bohdan Yaremenko, who disgraced himself by sexting during a plenary session, according to an LB.ua correspondent.
Only 186 MPs voted for the replacement instead of the required minimum of 226.
The pro-presidential faction Servant of the People wanted Yelizaveta Yasko to replace Yaremenko although she was not the top choice, according to internal primaries.
Halyna Mykhaylyuk scored over 27% whereas Yasko had less than 25%.
