A rally "Guard in Bankova" has begun outside the presidential office in central Kyiv. Participants in the event organized by the Movement of Resistance to Capitulation plan to stay there until results of the Normandy Four meeting are announced.
The Normandy summit is scheduled to be held in Paris on 9 December.
According to an LB.ua correspondent, the activists warn President Volodymyr Zelenskyy against crossing the "red lines" at the meeting.
Before the rally, law enforcers disassembled the stage put up by the rally initiators. Later a compromise was reached and the protesters brought a new stage to Bankova Street.
There is a large number of law enforcers on the approaches to the presidential office. They block the protesters from bringing in tents, canisters and logs.
However, after all, the activists put up some tents and brought several canisters.
Representatives of the National Corps, Demsokyra and Freedom are taking part in the event. Among them are Freedom leader Oleh Tyahnybok and former Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan.
