The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to limit air travel to and from Italy due to the spread of coronavirus.
According to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, flights are “actually” cancelled.
“The decision was taken today and airlines are now implementing it. This means the actual cancellation of air traffic with Italy. For now. We will follow the situation and pass corresponding decisions with regard to countries where this infection develops parabolically,” he said after a government meeting.
Ukraine International Airlines and SkyUp announced on 11 March that they were cutting their flights to Italy. They did not say that all flights would be cancelled.
