President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has met the newly-appointed Chinese ambassador to Ukraine, Fan Xianrong.
Zelenskyy noted the efforts of the Chinese authorities, which made it possible to stabilize the situation with the spread of coronavirus.
He emphasized Ukraine's interest in studying Chinese experience in dealing with the disease and establishing an exchange of information with Chinese medical experts.
He expressed gratitude for the medical equipment received from China and noted personal assistance of the Chinese Ambassador in this issue.
The president appealed to the Chinese government to provide additional assistance to Ukraine: test systems, medical equipment and pharmaceuticals.
He also expressed gratitude for China's unwavering position on maintaining Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
