Russia destroying literature that doesn’t coincide with Kremlin propaganda

The Russian occupiers began seizing "extremist" literature from the libraries of the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk, Donetsk, Chernihiv, and Sumy regions. Units of the "military police" were involved in the work, which perform so-called "ideological functions" in addition to repressive ones.

This was reported in the Chief Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

"Books on the history of Ukrainian Maidan, Anti-terrorist Operation / Joint Forces Operation, history of Ukrainian liberation struggles are of the greatest interest to the police. "Extremist" literature includes school textbooks on Ukrainian history, and popular scientific literature on history," the Chief Directorate of Intelligence said.

Among the banned names from the list of aggressors are Mazepa, Petliura, Bandera, Shukhevych, and Chornovil.

"In the cities of Kreminna, Rubizhne (Luhansk region), Hrodna (Chernihiv region) there are cases of seizure of the book "The Case of Vasyl Stus" by Vakhtang Kipiani," Ukrainian intelligence agents said.

Books are confiscated and destroyed on the spot or taken away in an unknown direction.

The command of the Russian invaders allowed their soldiers to loot. And Ukrainians deported to Russia are offered employment on Sakhalin.
