Ukrainian paramedic and volunteer Yuliya Payevska (Tayra) has been pulled out of Russian captivity, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in a late-night video address.
"Today I can finally break the news. We have managed to secure Ukrainian paramedic Yuliya Payevska's (Tayra) release from captivity. I am thankful to all who had worked towards that goal. Tayra is home already," he said.
"We will continue to work to bring them all back," he added.
Payevska and her driver Serhiy were detained by the occupiers in Mariupol on 16 March.
Later a Russian TV channel published a video showing Tayra.
