The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has published a video appeal to the Belarusian and Russian military on its Facebook page.
If Belarusians are forced to take part in the war against Ukraine and they cannot dodge it, after crossing the border, they must stop as a unit. It is also necessary to stop the equipment, raise white flags and wait for representatives of the Armed Forces command.
Belarusians are guaranteed an option of an immediate return home. If they are afraid of persecution by the Lukashenka regime, they will be able to stay in Ukraine until the end of the war, living in special military camps.
The Belarusian military will be able to receive equipment and weapons in proper condition after the end of the war.
The General Staff added that Russians, who decided to become part of the occupying army, are offered two options: voluntary surrender (Ukraine will comply with all international conventions and ensure proper conditions of detention) or guaranteed death.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are entering Kherson. The occupiers who are still in the city are ordered to surrender to save their lives.
