Protesters will let fewer trucks through the Dorohusk checkpoint on the border with Poland. Edyta Ozygala, the leader of the Dorohusk protest, said that the protest had become more active.

"The protest has been going on for eight weeks now, and we need to change our tactics somehow. For seven weeks, our concessions to the Ukrainian side have not brought any results, so now we are intensifying the protest," Ozygala explained, RMF24 reports.

Only one truck will be allowed into Ukraine every three hours. Before that, 3 trucks were allowed to cross every hour. According to the Chamber of Tax Administration in Lublin, there are about 1,500 trucks in line to leave Poland for Ukraine through the Dorohusk checkpoint.

"The approximate waiting time - taking into account the current passage of vehicles by carriers - is more than a month," the agency said, the newspaper writes.

They also noted that usually the waiting time for such a number of vehicles for customs clearance in Dorohusk was about 68 hours.

The queue of trucks is about 40 km long and reaches the town of Marinin in the Siedlice Commune.

According to the Polish side, 950 vehicles are queuing for customs clearance in Hrebenne, i.e. waiting 12 days. Under normal conditions, it would take about 80 hours to service this number of vehicles. At this crossing, carriers let several vehicles through per hour.
