Unruly MP preparing talks with "D/LPR" chiefs "in Lugansk, Donetsk and then Kyiv"
"I have requested more meetings."
Verkhovna Rada deputy Nadiya Savchenko says she is planning new meetings with the leaders of the so-called "DNR" and "LNR" Zakharchenko and Plotnitskiy, including in Kyiv.
Speaking on Shuster Live TV talk show on 29 December, Savchenko said new meetings are although not as permanent and extended as the Minsk process, and not necessarily held on neutral territories.
"We are in Ukraine, and next time we can meet in Luhansk and Donetsk, and then in Kyiv. I have requested more meetings," she said.
Earlier, Russia has repeatedly stated in favour of direct talks between Ukrainian authorities and the "DPR" and "LPR" leaders of militants.
On 7 December, Savchenko had a secret meeting with the Donetsk and Luhansk separatist leaders in Minsk.
After that Savchenko was excluded from the faction of Fatherland, and then of the delegation to the PACE.
