A freight train consisting of 25 carriages full of ferrous metal cargo ran off the track between Ivanivka and Veselyy Kut in Odesa Region on 3 July, according to an LB.ua correspondent.
Passenger trains are taking bypass routes, which may affect the schedule.
There has been no information about casualties.
Three repair trains were sent to the site from Rozdilna, Podolsk and Odesa Tovarna.
Reasons for the incident are being investigated.
