Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and European Council President Donald Tusk have discussed the implementation of agreements reached at the 21st EU-Ukraine summit over the phone.
According to Zelenskyy's press service, Tusk welcomed active reforms in Ukraine, in particular with regard to the implementation of the EU-Ukraine association agreement.
They also discussed European energy security and the Nord Stream 2 project, noting that it is important for all EU member states to honour the energy legislation.
Zelenskyy thanked Tusk for his contribution to the development of cooperation between Ukraine and the EU. Tusk pledged unwavering support for Ukraine's sovereignty, territorial integrity and reforms.
