The pro-presidential faction Servant of the People has selected Yelizaveta Yasko for head of the parliamentary committee on foreign policy.
She will replace career diplomat, MP Bohdan Yaremenko, who disgraced himself by sexting during a parliament session.
Yasko currently heads Ukraine's permanent parliamentary delegation to the PACE.
