Tourists who visited Kyiv in 2019 have paid the city 50m hryvnyas in taxes, an LB.ua correspondent has quoted Kyiv mayor Vitaliy Klitschko as saying.
Every tourist spent around 3,000 hryvnyas a day on average in Kyiv, the mayor added.
Most travellers came from Great Britain, Israel, the USA, Turkey, Georgia and Azerbaijan.
As reported earlier, around 107,000 people have visited the Chornobyl exclusion zone this year, 80% of them were foreigners.
