In two days, March 2 and 3, Ukraine received almost 2,500 tons of humanitarian aid.
This was announced by the Minister of Social Policy Marina Lazebna, the press service of the ministry reports.
"Additional information on 1,500 tons of humanitarian aid has been received from Lviv Customs," the minister said.
According to the Lviv Customs, the main humanitarian goods include food, hygiene products, medicines, fuel, military clothing, and general consumer goods.
The Ministry of Social Policy reminded that when importing humanitarian aid into Ukraine, it is not necessary to obtain a separate decision on recognizing the cargo as humanitarian aid.
"The recipient does not have to be included in the Unified Register of Recipients of Humanitarian Aid, the passage takes place without the application of measures of non-tariff regulation of foreign economic activity, and the customs and border services provide immediate passage through the State Border of Ukraine of humanitarian aid," the ministry said.
We remind, on March 4 in Kherson people came out to protest against the fake humanitarian aid of the president of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
