The technical mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will visit Ukraine on 12-16 February.
"A team of several IMF experts will visit Kyiv from 12 to 16 February for technical negotiations with representatives of the Ukrainian authorities," the fund quoted Goesta Ljungman, IMF Resident Representative in Ukraine, as saying.
The fourth Extended Fund Facility (EFF) for Ukraine, 17.5bn dollars, was approved in March 2015. By now, Ukraine has received 8.7bn dollars out of this sum in four instalments.
National Bank of Ukraine deputy head Dmytro Solohub recently said that unless Ukraine receives the fifth instalment by July, this will practically mean the end of the EFF.
To unblock the fifth tranche, Ukraine still needs to pass the law on the Anticorruption Court and bring gas prices to the market level.
